The 1974 Yamaha SC500 was purchased locally from an ad on a motorcycle classified site. The motor was included in a cardboard box making this bike a true basketcase.

The motor had a disassembled crank (Broken) and the head was damaged due to a broken piston ring. All this the result of an abortive attempt to fix teh bike at somepoint in it's past. The frame has a hole were the kickstand was attached to the frame. The shocks are not original and the major cosmetic parts are missing or in very poor shape. This bike is a large project and will require another doner bike to become complete.
